Why we developed 1Gateway
We started Faciligate in 2017 with a simple concept: make software integrations easier. Working many years for software vendors and partners, we learned that almost all enterprise software implementations require complex integrations with tools in the customer’s IT ecosystem. Most of those integrations were not available as standard product and had to be developed as part of the implementation services. This custom development would add cost and risk to the project, and become a critical piece of software without any kind of support contract. We decided to develop 1Gateway, a product that would solve precisely those issues.
Team
In the IT management world, it is almost impossible to find a single product that does everything well, so companies end up using multiple best-of-breed products, and 1Gateway helps manage and integrate those different products. Similarly, it is very hard for a single software company to be great at all the roles involved in making the company successful. At Faciligate we decided early on to engage seasoned professionals for each of the roles we need, and many of those roles are filled by strategic outsourcing partners. And just like 1Gateway makes best-of-breed products look as one, we work very closely together with our partners, as if we were a single company.
