A customer has a CMDB and needs to integrate asset data from its ecosystem. Asset data typically come from different monitoring tools. 1Gateway is used to connect all the various tools to feed the CMDB. The data is configured to meet the CMDB required format. Incoming data will automatically either create the new asset or simply update existing assets with the latest information from the ecosystem. This method is used to keep track of what is happening in your Infrastructure. At the same time it supports the customer in the process of updating CI information across its entire life cycle.
